This status should not be "implemented" until folders are available for nearly everything in the browser. Currently, we can't group components, joints, reference geometry, CAM operations, or nearly anything else into folders.
The heart of the problem has not been solved. Voting on this topic should be opened up again.
If it was "IMPLEMENTED" shouldn't it be visible here? How about we open this up for voting again, or better yet, just implement what people have been asking for since 2014? Thanks.
I am new to Fusion 360 and I'm still not sure it will work with the type of projects we do. One of my major concerns is some of the basic tools for keeping a file manageable don't exist.
Creating a component to organize is awful, it add so many clicks to the process that it doesn't make sense.
It seems having the ability to have folders in the Browser is a very basic function that has been requested for over 5 years. Is it being worked on, is it being ignored, does the Fusion Team think the sub-components fixes the issue?
It would nice to know if this is still on the list, strange that it hasn't been resolved as it seems so basic of a function.
I'ts currently quite annoying to have an assembly with 100+ fasteners and the only way to organize them is to put them in a sub-component. But then they are not showing on the BOM. I know there is a workaround but it's not pretty and it's time consuming!
