User-friendly sketch export formats (More than DXF)

Last requested (and in "feature consideration" since) 2015.

Sketches can be exported as DXF files. Now, I'm told DXF is pretty standard in industry, but for the small-time guys it's an obscure format that we can't easily work with. Adding in a standard vector format seems like a no-brainer. Drawings are all well and good, but when I'm trying to get projected dimensions on a PCB so I can design it in another program, the drawing interface isn't all that helpful. The sketches make it easy, and I really just want to save the dimensions of all my projected lines.

And what format do you want?

Can you no longer export sketches as .pdf ‽ It used to be broken and bizarre but at least it was there and I can't find it anymore

As far as I can tell the only sketch export is DXF. PDF, SVG, really any vector drawing formats that can be opened by common image programs would be great.

THat's bizarre‥ I wonder if I've been autonomically exporting as DXF and converting to PDF without noticing
