Saving favorite holes using the Hole command

Saving favorite holes using the Hole command

I would like to see a method of saving specific Hole command settings to a favorites menu.  Currently the command keeps the last used settings, but there is no way of saving these settings for future use if different settings are entered.

What would make this even more amazing would be if the specific favorite could be tied to the sketch geometry.  An example of this would be if I had a sketched R.291 circle (or series of circles), it could tie to an M8x1.25 hole, drilled .500 deep, etc. etc., with an override checkbox if I needed a nonstandard depth.

Thank you!

As an additional bit of functionality, how about the ability to offset the hole start position above or below the sketch plane.

Currently you can offset the start point of a cylinder from the sketch plane, but you cannot do the same with a drilled hole.

@Anonymous, that's a great idea!  It is a variation in workflow to have to create a sketch on the work surface.  I tend to use a lot of imported dxf sketches, so this breaks up my normal routine.

I would be happy if it would just stop defaulting to random sizes! Sometimes it defaults to a #3 screw size, and sometimes a 3 inch screw size!
