Repeat point to point paste

Repeat point to point paste

Often are the occasions when I would like to paste multiple instances of the same component, snapping them to other components.  Currently I do this by repeating the copy/paste point to point command, which is time consuming.

I would propose that when copying from point to point, multiple target points may be selected.

Thanks for your consideration.

This sounds great. Found it while trying to do it just now.

I was just about to post this idea. I'm designing fixtures for machining that have a lot of instances of the same fasteners and components. Unfortunately they don't occur at the regular intervals that would allow me to rely on the various pattern options. I'm finding that I have to copy these objects manually and it's tedious to say the least.

Autodesk - PLEASE NOTE - !!

This subject has several postings with different wording that are essentially requesting the same thing; "Multiple Copy", "Copy Multiple", "Duplicate and Join", "Copy Instance", etc. to name a few.

If you add the votes for these separate Idea Station entry's together, the number of people requesting the improvement is much larger than is indicated by the votes for individual ideas.

Please implement this much needed improvement.

That´s really needed. I was trying to do it for hours. Now I know it´s not possible :(. It would be a very useful tool.

Hi, is this issue already resolved?

Not as far as I am aware.

It would seem there are many, more complex requirements for Autodesk also to resolve for 360.  However, this suggestion would seem to me, (not a software engineer!), to be amongst the low hanging fruit - no UI change required.  Clearly I'm missing something but I do find it frustrating that I am still painfully adding nuts and bolts one by one.

I am currently doing 3d printed architectural models and this feature would be extremely useful

Very useful feature

I'm struggling to believe that such a basic feature is not provided in a professional tool. I need to repeat a modification to gear teeth. It is going to kill me if I have to do that individually on each tooth accross 8 gears.

@antcollinet  Why can you use the circular pattern tools?

I wish I could stuff the ballot box on this one.  I can only believe there is some internal Fusion reason this was not implement about 46 versions ago!
