I think you need to be more specific. What type of vector art and what do you expect the result to be?
In the model and patch workspaces, on the insert pulldown, there is 'insert svg'. SVG is an open standard vector format. I have used Adobe Illustrator to create SVG files and they import to fusion 2D sketch very nicely.
Hello MattWynn, thanks for your comment, I am just learning this software, perhaps I need more time or a tutorial, I am trying to import a 3d object say from Vectorart and place it on a block then repeat the patern. I am trying to make a decorative picture frame as can be seen in the YouTube tutorial below, using Vectric Aspire software. I need to do this in Fusion360 so I can print a 3d sample, the result start at about 6min 20 seconds in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUvz-YL3H_E Thanks
Inserting an SVG into a sketch doesn't work as well as it should.
The lines are Green (as opposed to black?), and any time I try to modify the sketch I get the error "Warning: Sketch1: Some sketch curves cannot be converted to profile edges"
I can extrude the parts just fine, but I cannot modify the imported sketch.
Hello Spammehere, Thanks for your observation , I think you need to direct your solution or problem to Mr. Mattwynn, he is the AUTODESK Expert. I am winging it and also looking for a solution to a project I am working on and suggested that they consider a vevtorart import tool. The people at AUTODESK are very responsive so let em know. Remember its almost free, combining sculpting, modeling, parametrics, cam, and the choice to produce additive or subtractive samples makes Fusion 360 Awesome.
Thank you for the compliments Zephyr958. Unfortunately I am not an expert in this area, just someone who had used 'Insert SVG' once with moderate success.
