Path Length Dimension
A path length dimension would be amazing for modeling and interacting with belts.
My situation is: I have a bunch of fixed length belts and I need to wrap one around 3 pulleys, I would like to be able to dimension the total length around multiple sketch curves. If that didn't make sense, here is a video:
Definitely agree. For belts and mechanisms this would be a godsend.
Especially if you can define the specific anchor points, and then define a line of action elsewhere. This would mean that you could do kinematic synthesis for cams, rockers and complex mechanisms instantly.
