Also if you have a bunch of bodies and you select them you can't create a Component with the just selected bodies. The Create Component from Bodies  creates one component for each body. This is not good.

We have to select one body, create the component and drag and drop all the other bodies in the component.

Again, we can't move bodies from component to component, we have to do it only with drag and drop.

For example I would like to select some bodies on the work area, rmb-->move to component-->my component name

If we have a Component nested in another Component we can't move it outside with a simple drag and drop.

First we have to move the body in another component and then delete the empty one.

And if those bodies get combined and turned into a component, that stupid C-PATTERN GROUP folder remains and can never be deleted.

Clutter in the browser is a huge problem and not being able to delete those things when you're trying to tidy up is almost insulting.

Thank you for your idea, this is getting archived due to lack of votes.  I also want to mention that browser folders are in our backlog and once implemented you will be able to manually.

Since this is archived, can we not vote for it? What's the procedure to re-open this for votes? I think this would be a very useful feature. For instance, I currently create a pattern of bodies (which may vary in quantity via a parameter) which I then want to use to cut another body. However, since the only option is to select bodies individually, if the number of cutting bodies changes I need to roll back and re-select all the bodies in the folder manually.

Yeah @billbucket you can't vote for archived ideas. The only mechanism I'm aware of is to start another idea which is super annoying considering that getting votes is pulling teeth and this is a no-brainer that was already up to 8 when @promm archived it

If this is an idea that you believe in, I would suggest creating a new idea around it.  Once archived you are not able to vote for an idea, however we do not limit people from suggesting the idea again.  We find that adding a workflow description and images help in gathering support when resubmitted.  Have you tried window selecting a pattern for the cut workflow you suggest?  If there are other bodies that you do not want to include in the selection you can hold "ALT" or "Command" to deselect or hid the other bodies before window selecting.

EDIT:

I Figured it out. You can just go to your selection filters and select "select through" and it will select everything you highlight with the window selection. It would still be nice to have that option through the browser as well though.

How is this not a feature yet? When I google search "select all bodies fusion 360" this is the first result that comes up. This is a very necessary feature. Has it been addressed in any way? I have a project that has internal components and I need to easily select all bodies/components/features/faces/etc. to mirror them all at once. This will take forever going through each group and clicking each item. Is there a new thread on this to vote on? I think everyone could use a simple way to select all items in sub-folders either by one click or by a right click and selecting an option to select all items in all sub-folders.
