Need a Report a Bug feature

The Help menu has Help, Forum, Feedback, and some other items.

None of them, including this "New Idea" area really covers the situation where there's a bug, glitch, crash or other problem with the fucntionality that is already implemented. "Feedback" soulds related but turns out not to be. The forum topic "General Fusion 360 Questions seems to be where some peope have reported problems, but it's not clear tha that's the correct place either.

Desired Change:

Have an explicit "Report a Bug" selection that allows submission of the problam and situation, possibly allowing upload of current program state and undo history etc..

The submissions in this area should get high priority attention compared with new ideas.

It would be fine if they end up as part of the Forums.

I posted a suggestion for automatic crash and bug detection and reporting a couple days ago. If you haven't yet you should find it and vote on it.
I definitely think a quick easy way to report things would be a great addition as well.

Just having the ability to capture the state and history to easily reproduce crashes or other bugs would be huge.

Yes, this is getting worked on now and we are targeting a streamlined bug submitting/issue reporting mechanism from in-product for our September update.

Iam new to fusion 360 and before an recent update i was able to lock in rectangle dimentions after pressing enter and this no longer works i can only put dimention on one side then it closes

keqingsong - Any update on getting the bug reporting feature into the Fusion360? It would really help users direct their issues to the correct place.  Thanks!  Stephen

I was looking for the same thing. I never actually found where to report bugs. 

I just had an unrepeatable one also, and have no idea of the effects. I opened fusion today, and had it running yesterday without having restarted my computer (not sure if that's relevant). It said I started a 30 day demo. Huh?

I wasn't sure what would happen to my files, so I decided to restart my machine. Yup, it's fine now.

Come to think of it, I did have a bug yesterday as well, but it wasn't a crash. In a sketch I selected two things and tried to add a constraint, but it wouldn't let me. I switched the order, then it worked. The engineer standing over my shoulder was confused. I did it again in the other order, then it worked. This happened a few more times after that as well. I just switched the order, then both worked. That is a very frustrating bug.
