A long time I and my partner use the Fusion 360 in our product, we are a startup which is almost finishing our product to the market, and the Fusion was a great and fundamental tool for us.
GENERAL:
But, if you give me permission I'll describe some details that could be analyzed in the future like an improvement suggestion:
Do a component search better, for example, we have a large list of components, could be nice if we push button C and the visor went to the part which starts with letter C.
Another nice shortcut would be a command to hide all the menu from Fusion, leaving only the project active.
As we work with a large list of market components we usually do a master assembly, and other subassemblies, put this subassembly in the master, but, when we change a thing in this assemblies we need to update the master and the sub. Would be good if when we update a master assembly, the sub. also updated automatically.
ASSEMBLIES:
A thing that always happens here it's when we do a complex assembly and change some important component from this, some others components break their link and it's impossible to fix, we need to delete the part and put again. Imagine, when for example screws, when we lost the link's it's a hard work to put again.
Also about screws, would be good if had a feature like Solid Edge, that we can do like a pattern, we say that all the holes with 5mm will receive a determined screw.
Another difficulty with screws its organization, when I put for example 30 screws in an assembly, do a group and make another thing, after I see that I need more screws, I can't put in the last group, I need to create a new.
A thing that would be nice it's put more than one parts at once, for example, select 10 items to insert together.
DRAWINGS
So, in the drawings, we had a problem to do details to machining, and welded sheet, we can put the center line, but can't put the diameter between holes. And there are some important welding symbols which do not have the options.
NAVIGATION
In the folder space (place when we preview designs) would be nice if had a mouse synchronization, for example, we use a mouse with 5 buttons, two we use for navigation between folders in all software, like go and back. But in the Fusion, these buttons don't work to navigate. (for me, this feature it's really important to win speed)
So, I think that's it, I'm sorry if I said some thing which doesn't make sense or isn't in the Fusion 360 plans, but like a user, I think that's important report my experience.
But I need to say that I admire your evolution with Fusion, it's the best CAD software that I have saw.
