Modify- Move dialogue box absolute or relative coordinates

When I select a body to move, then move it here and there, the numbers in the dialogue box continue to reset to zero as I work, so I have no idea where the body is relative to where I started. Is there something I'm missing? I hope this makes sense.

Thanks

A body does not retain it's origin when the move is completed. That's why the every move command for a body is recorded in the timeline.  You can go back in the timeline to see where your move started. If you

want to go back to a previous location, delete the moves that were recorded afterwards from the timeline.

The above assumes of course that you have the teimeline enabled 😉

Be aware of then differce between a body and a component.
