Make threads great again!!!

Make threads great again!!!

Please make the generation of non standard threads as easy as in Solidworks.

Check this for reference: https://cimquest-inc.com/solidworks-2017-multiple-start-threads/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SK_PpWN296U

Also a possibillity to flip the side of the hole or cylinder where you want to start your thread would be great.

I know you can shift it to the right position but i just want to decide where it starts and which direction it goes when i dont need the full length of the part...

Also the "Trim with start face" option seems mindblowing for fusion 360, because when i add a thread in F360 i have toi camfer manually... and in case i have a cylinder that has already a camfer on one side, then the thread will not work, because the camfer is not included into the thread...

Really Mindblowing features, that are into Solidworks for 3!!!! Years that are not aviable in Inventor or F360. Thats a big disadvantage, and could be a reason to switch to solidworks for me.

Im really bored of adding self-written spreadsheet workarounds for custum thread solutions...

Mike,

I give you my vote for threads. They should be easy to make. A helix is known mathematical formula.

In 3D printing I can make threads in TINKER CAD using the plugin.  No excuse here.

John
