It would be really incredible to be able to edit linked parts within an assembly without breaking the link. I have seen some discussion of this, especially with regard to "read-only visibility" in assemblies. I see that this has been proposed, but I hope it comes sooner than later since right now my workflow requires that I reach a point where I break linked components which often results in broken features.
Still better than Solidworks assemblies though lmao
