I was just fiddling with Parametric stuff in a file here, and thought wouldn't it be nice if a user could create a spreadsheet of Parameters that they often use for certain things.
Generally I use items from the same parts bin for a lot of my work, so it would be great if I could set a spreadsheet or .csv file of various clearances I use or percentage modifiers for types of items I use, and have them available from the start of a new file.
That way when adjusting clearances on certain items, I could enter the dimension I require and "+ PressFit_Alu_Anodized" or something to that effect into the dialog box, and it would be immediately suggested as a parameter because it's imported at file creation. I wouldn't have to create these parameters in all my new files all the time.
Not an immediately necessary feature, but would be a nice one nonetheless.
Perhaps at some point down the road, the user would have an option in their preferences that states "Show Template Browser when creating New File", which would enable a pop-up wizard when new files are created that would allow users to check-box from a list of parametric style sheets they have, with an additional check box to "make default" for all future "New File" actions.
That way the user has less click inputs for each new file created, and can just go from "Create New File" to "OK" rather than re-click all the same items every time.
