Enhancement: Snap to centre of hole/circle

Enhancement: Snap to centre of hole/circle

Right now Fusion isn't able to move a component or feature to the center of a hole or even a circle shaped extrusion, it'll just snap to the edge which most of the time isn't what I want, perhaps what Fusion could do is that when we highlight a circle, it'll show something like a joint snap point, so the user can select the point, not selecting the point will move it to the nearest hold edge.

Center of the hole! not the edge, and I know I can use point to point but there's situations where I want to align stuffs by X axis only for example, right now I'll have to point to point and then Y axis it back to the original position and there's some situations where this isn't possible.

Center of the hole please! Another option would be to measure and do offsets and such but again, this is near the end of 2015 and we shouldnt need to ninja moves with the move tool.

Also want. You can kludge this with a joint but that's really not what I want to do 99.9% of the time I need this.

How did you get snap to object in a first place??? I was thinking that I know Fusion quite well, but I didn't know snapping is possible. I was looking for that feature at the very begining of my adventure with Fusion, and I couldn't find. Now I don't need that at all (almost, I would like to use it in Plan Along Path). For any alignin I use align tool. Maybe you can use align:

Have you tried the point to point option on the Move dialog or am I missing something.

Point to point or Align should be able to do what you are looking for.

@michallach81, for most cases I find point-to-point works better then align as align is only useful if you want to "mate" surfaces.

@HughesTooling this is probably me not giving a clear enough example but what I wanted is to move it by a single axis to the center of the hole, as in some situations I can't point-to-point or using point-to-point will require me to do much more steps then is required, so that's why the title is called enhancement.

@schneik-adsk, I would really appreciate it if you can clarify with me first before changing the status as "solution provided"

Here's another video which hopefully better clarifies my point, what I'm trying to achieve is to move the body by only "Delta Z"/Y-Axis for some. The first half shows the usual point-to-point and then I have to move it backm, in this example, I'll have to realign the "Delta X" again.

In the 2nd half, I attempted to align the body with a single move command, but when I measure it, it seems from a single axis it's not aligned to the center of the hole.
