DXF Export of CAM Toolpath

My laser cutter has it's own software which must be used. This software requires DXF import. Though I can export a sketch as a DXF, this is unsuitable for many reasons, like:

1. I don't really want to cut a sketch, but a countour of a "finished" body
2. Sketch DXFs export with too many other artifacts - like countour lines - which I don't want in my cut file
3. A laser cutpath derived from a sketch do not take into account things like too width.

Thus, being able to export the 2d cutpath from a CAM operation as a DXF file would work very well for such equipment.
