Hey there,
My idea is to gain support for the direct importation and/or utilization of .ai files within fusion 360 as either sketches or CAM toolpaths. Currently, the Illustrator file must be exported as an AutoCAD interchange file, then imported into Fusion 360 with mixed results. If there was a way for the files to be directly integrated into Fusion, it would allow for more precise toolpaths, and would allow for the removal of a middleman/program between the placement of the drawing.
What do you guys think?
