Custom Drawing Title Block
There should be an option to create custom drawing title blocks. I want to create a drawing but do not need all of the information shown in the current title block. There should be a way to at least select what information shows in the title block.
For those who want to reorder their attributes (in AutoCAD 2016):
Select everything, type command "BLOCK", give it any name, "Convert to block", "Allow exploding", "Open in block editor", click "Create Block". Confirm the next prompt. Type "BATTMAN" (double t - or some strangely suited guy with a deep voice may hassle you) and reorder your attributes with drag&drop. "Update Blocks" and "Close" the prompt. Now close the block editor and hit save.
Finally, select your new block, type "EXPLODE", type "PURGE" ("Blocks" is enough, but why not clean up properly --> "All"), "Enter name(s) to purge", hit enter, "Verify each name to be purged?" select "No" (right-click), or type in "n" and hit enter. Save your file. Et voilà.
Please note I haven't worked with AutoCAD for long time. It might seem overly complicated but it was the only way that worked for me.
This assumes that the people that are using Fusion 360 are well-versed in Autocad, and would have a compatible file already. More practical would be to be able to add Titleblock information into the parameters box, and turn a company titleblock into a PDF file or word doc. Also, it would be nice if you would show us how to save the drawing, and perhaps change the sheet size. Just saying it is ANSI B doesn't make it so.
Is there anywhere that you have some default title blocks in DWG format to download for Fusion Users that do not have access to AutoCAD to create a title block? For example, a title block that is the whole length of the sheet with standard tolerance specifications and a block for the company logo. Also, when do you believe that Fusion will have the capability to edit/create its own title blocks?
Hi there, This approach would hit the nail on the head, it must involve drawing and editing your own title block with the addition of importing a company logo, why not also the "fusion" symbol in a corner of the drawing sheet for good measure to let people know it has been modeled in fusion 360.kind regards,Geoff Wheeler.

The team is wrapping up the next phase of Title Block enhancements now, which will allow you to bring in an existing .dwg titleblock for reuse. The phase after that will be addressing the actual authoring of custom title blocks in Fusion. I hope that's encouraging for you to hear, and thanks again for chiming back in on this.

I took a look at the issue you reported this morning, I know we currently have a Bug in Fusion Drawings on Mac only where your Title-block Images and shaded views in the drawing do not get exported to PDF correctly. I know that this problem has been recently fixed and during the next update this should go away.
For the time being I can think of two workarounds you can try in the meantime:
I would suggest trying to run the export to PDF from the A360 Website (You should have a titleblock image with this export)
The other suggestion would be to generate the PDF on an OS that is not OSX Sierra (10.12) so if you had a Windows machine or a Mac with an Older OS the export should still work.
Do we yet have a time scale for Customisable title blocks in Fusion?
Whist this work around is great, it is just that at the moment and I think there's a growing need for a fully customiseable block. As more and more bigger and bigger companies want to jump on board.
@SimonHills & @Anonymous, Thanks for following up with us on this again. As you can see from the Drawings Roadmap Blog, fully customizable title block authoring tools are still on the roadmap, but the team is finishing up some other projects first (items in blue and yellow). I am a new user of Fusion 360 and am trying to get our default title blocks set up. I came across this thread in my search to solve this problem. I don't have a path to create AutoCAD files, so am hoping this functionality is still in the works for Fusion as an internal operation. Do you yet know when we can expect this?
It is pretty easy to build a custom boarder. If you double click on the border block in the lower corner, and field window will appear. Populate. The next step is to click out in the middle of the boarder to get out of that edit mode. When you are out, then do a file save as and select template. Yah, pretty easy.
Thank you for the response. I have already worked with the Title Block popup that lets you edit the values that populate in the linked fields. What I need to do, however, is change the layout and remove/rename some of the fields (at least rename what the end viewer will see). I saw the post describing the method using AutoCAD to generate a .dwg file, but I don't have access to an AutoCAD instance.
@chris & @SimonHills, the good news is that team is currently working on a title block creation / editing tool that will live in side the Drawings workspace. Release date is still TBD but we'll push it out as soon as it's ready. @chris if you need help getting something done in AutoCAD in the meantime, email myself or [email protected] and we'll get one created for you to tide you over.
