custom component colour cycling

Is it possible to customise the component colour toggle colours? It would be great to be able to assign our own colours making it so much easier to differentiate each component and assign a rational colour. What would be brilliant would be to alter the transparency of each colour as well. SketchUp offers great transparency sliders that let you really see into the model. Please incorporate the drawing and materials element of SketchUP, it is soooo much easier then Fusion 360 and lets you design in real-time.

If I understand what you are asking for correctly, I believe it can already be done with appearances and opacity control.

I'm generally happy with it randomly assigning colours to the components and bodies, but sometimes duplicate colours are assigned to adjacent components and it can be hard to tell them apart. Just having a 'randomise' button to reshuffle component colours would be helpful.
