Copy instance

Copy instance

When you have many component have the  same work flow (sketch ,extrude ,...etc) why we don't have (copy instance ) to minimize time work , for example, If you have a chair and you want to create four legs have much details and pattern why we can't choose one leg as a parent or main component so if I did any change in (parent leg) the others change automatically ,by this way I don't need to re create legs many times

This is already  possible and and the standard way when copying and pasting components. The pasted components are instances. I have a hard time believing that this has even 4 votes!

 1. The text of your idea talks about components. There are no components in the timeline, only bodies. Are you sure you understand this very important distinction between boats and components in Fusion 360 ?

2. Here is a link to a youtube video that explains the different behaviors when copying and pasting components and bodies in timeline and direct modeling mode.

3. The reason the edit in the 1st body is not reflected in the second body is because it happens in the timeline after the copy past feature. Edit the sketch you used to create the first body with and you'll see what I mean.
