This idea is about having the ability to Copy, Cut, Paste, Duplicate, Triplicate, Mirror, Glow, Highlight, Circle, Arrow, Accelerate, Fade in, Fade out of specific sections of actions placed in the Storyboard (timeline) of the animation mode workspace.
1) Having the ability to Copy, Cut, and Paste certain sections of actions in the Storyboard would be a great benefit to editing a complicated animation including if you want something to repeat again and again and you'd rather avoid working with a large time space that requires a more challenging task of estimating the rate of change for that large time space (such as rotations of a crankshaft on an engine design).
2)Duplicate and Triplicate are just quicker and more refined additions to the copy/paste function listed prior.
3) Mirroring a time slot of an action would be helpful when you would like to reverse a motion or change without actually manually changing the positioning of a component part. If you could just right click the time slot bar of the action in the storyboard and choose mirror and have a new mirrored version of the action you selected that appears in the storyboard given the fact the time slider provides enough time space for the action to be added to the storyboard.
4) Having the ability to make a component glow or become highlighted (I'm not actually sure how the appearance changes works in the animation workspace) would be great in some cases when the software user wants to bring attention to a specific part of the animation they are constructing and also if the user wants to highlight or make glow a series of components to create visual groups within the design model of the animation.
5) Circle, Arrow, Ball Point Lines, and Text: These would be good to have when your trying to build an animation that involves instruction or guidance information to help understand more clearly what is happening in the animation and when a user wants to label, list, number, or explain details throughout the progress of the animation.
6) Fade In - Fade Out: Imagine being able to move a component in the animation and highlight it perhaps for a purpose and then have it later on fade out of the animation to make room for other components or even because that particular component is not important to focus on later on in the animation. And what about Showing how something is built by making component parts fade into view from the inside of an assembly like an engine and then have the remaining components fade into view one after another as it shows the sort of inside out development of multi-component model and perhaps you would want to have certain components fade out while others fade in. I see that a user can Show/Hide components throughout the storyboard but this is kind of harsh visually and sometimes to quick to notice compared to the function of a fading effect which at the right rate is much easier to notice than a flash of a component appearing or disappearing. I'm no expert in the animation workspace so I hope I'm not suggesting an idea that is already possible in relation to this section. However, as for the rest of the idea list, I'm quite confident they are new in respect to Fusion 360 in its current configuration.
I think these ideas would make animations much more powerful
