Coil Compression Within Modelling Environment

Coil Compression Within Modelling Environment

Hi,

So I have noticed for a while that fusion 360 supports joint movement within the model environment and its great to see how components will move etc., however I have been trying to design a car, but I notice that there isn't a 'joint' kind of option for compression of coils such as suspension springs for bicycles and cars, and other spring actuated components. Now I imagine you can look at how a spring will act in the Simulation part of Fusion 360, however I think it would still be a good idea to have some kind of compression 'joint' function that can be placed in the modelling environment.

I was also thinking about running pipes/electrical cables from the brakes and shock absorbers (as I thought I'd use Magneto rheological suspension) and with all the components moving around etc., I know the cables and pipes will just stay where they are and wont move with the model, So I thought it'd be really awesome if cables and pipes could move as well if they were made from a flexible material. Could this also be looked into, possibly?

Thanks,

Elliot
