Photoshop style ACTIONS tool for Fusion360

Photoshop style ACTIONS tool for Fusion360

I find myself often repeating drawing tasks like spacing out construction offset planes, adding a sketch to the plane and then projecting existing lines sketch curves, or applying fillets to sketch points, or flattening a built model to layout for CAM prep.

I think it would be very helpful if Fusion360 included a photoshop style ACTION tool. I could then open a simple record feature and record a series of actions and replay them on my models and sketches. The ACTION tool would allow me to create fast recordings of actions and it would also allow me to open the script behind the action and edit it for more sophisticated and detailed ACTION sequences.

There could also be an ACTION store. And power users could develop ACTION's and ACTION libraries to help less skilled users achieve specific ACTION outcomes.

I understand this treads on the toes of the API and ADD-INS. Perhaps the ADD-IN's function and tools could include a record tool and adopt similar 'non-coder' entry to developing actions/add-ins

I think there's others out there with similar ideas on automation.  I just noticed this post http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/ideastation-request-a-feature-or/block-rubberstamp-for-repeated-elemen... about block rubberstamp for repaeted elements. This is very much along the same line. Make sure you check out this other idea/feature request and vote for it, or vote for ACTIONS if you want to see more automation of repetitive tasks.
