Capture and/or Modify Selection Mode Filter "State"

Capture and/or Modify Selection Mode Filter "State"

Really missing an easy way to change selection filters/modes.

As an Inventor User (yup...I said it), I'm really missing Shift+Right-Click as a quick way to toggle/adjust my selection mode. It seems even more important to have an easy way to do this now that I find myself switching and working back-and-fourth between the workspaces. And even more, more, more important since there are so many more entities to filter by!!

Very possible I'm missing something. Please tell me I'm missing something.

What's the easy way to accomplish this?

Maybe a way to capture selection mode "States" that can toggle when you switch workspaces?

If there isn't currently an easy method, please add this to the list of requests.

Crazy-Making to have to keep traversing the flyout structure for every filter/mode change for every combination in every workspace...

I usually work in the model environment, so what I'll do is to click select all to deselect all and only select components. It works great cause when I move the pointer over components it actually highlight components (and not bodies) like how it would in other CAD systems and most tool like push pull or extrude will work after you trigger the command, so you lose the ability first select a face and then trigger the push pull command (now you need to push pull command first and only then select the face).

So if let say I'm going to work with lots of TSplines, I'll only activate the TSplines related selection filters, same goes to sketch or when I'm manipulating bodies.

Hope this helps
