Fix the select trap

I've gotten caught by what I call the "select trap" many times today. I am doing larger assemblies than usual. Today I went to select the assembly, and because it selected faces instead of bodies it took 5 minutes just to complete the select!

I ask that Fusion team figure out a way to save users from the "select trap." A new user should be able to pick up a copy, open a model, and not experience a five minute hang when they try to select something! 🙂

As I sit here, I am waiting for this to deselect, in hopes that Fusion doesn't crash deleting my other file that hasn't been saved yet...

This sounds more like a bug - is this still happening for you?

No, it's been like this for everyone since day one. If you have a model with a lot of faces and you window select it, it selects the faces, not the body. The solution is to turn off face select in a menu somewhere.
