Cam Workspace- Setups within Folders

Cam Workspace- Setups within Folders

Create the ability to put Setups within Folders, So you may have multiple operations, with multiple setups. In a Real manufacturing environment having One setup doesn't cut it. Especially when you have Multiple components in one File like Fusion is Pushing to do.

Without This, The Cam work space becomes a mess and total waste of time, the current system works for one component but it does not for multiple.

But the target here is to create G code for 1 setup. Not the changed setup also. So, once you done it, change the orientation and position and do it again. Isn't that answering the problem?
Or did I make mistake understanding it?

You are missunderstanding.

When It comes to actually physically creating the part. In reality some parts require more than one setup. Which is why it becomes a mess. If your WCS is the same for all setups then having one setup folder is not a problem. But because certain machining operations might require changing your wcs and referencing off a different location you quickly end up with multiple setups for one component all lined up in a row in your cam tree...

So if you have say 10 components all bring programmed and machined in one file  you could easily find your self scrolling through 30 Setups and having to differentiate between different operations for different components.

It's a mess
