CAM Simulation - Fixed tool orientation
Now that there is a 4th/5th axis support, I would really like to see the simulation view have the option of having the tool remain fixed and the part turn around the A axis. This would be a little more realistic as the part will be turning on my 4th axis (A axis) and the tool is always in the Z axis.
That would be something like a machine simulation. I understand you would want to see this.
But where most CAM systems only do that I would hate that.
Because a lot of the times I want to see what happens to a certain pocket and having the model move so that I can't see that pocket anymore would make the simulation kind of useless.
So I'm for this if we can have both ways and the ability to select a default ourselves.
Definitely should be an optional thing. I realize that there are times when the way it currently works is a good thing. However, I think there are also benefits to both ways.
