Automatically assign part numbers to a 3D model, then populate the drawings

The one thing that all of us need in drawings is a way to automatically assign a part numbers   It would be great if in Fusion could take the next available part number and tag it to the part.  Once tagged it automatically fills in the border.  As the part changes, revisions get updated. If it is an assembly, we get an assembly number.  If it is a sub assembly, we get that number, a part, etc. When the drawing is started the boarder gets populated.

The format should be user specifiable with a few standards baked in but definitely

I think everyone has a different theme for numbering.  I agree, the user needs to derrive some of the database structure.  Great call

These excellent ideas certainly have my vote.

Realistically, however, I see these in the more distant future. There are too many productvity inhibiting workflow issues in Fusion that need to be addressed first or at least in parallel.
