Allow access to implicit move in Past command (for History-based design)

Scenario:

1. Assure you are in history-based design (capture design history = ON)

2. Create a box

3. Turn the box into a component

4. Copy/Past this component (creating a 2nd instance of the component)

5. Set a transformation when pasting this 2nd instance

6. Goto to the history of this last event (in the timeline) - the icon is a box pointing to another box.

There is no Edit capability.

The idea is to provide an Edit capability where you can see (and change) the transformation applied into the component.

Marcio

Hi Marcio,

Thanks for the request.  Fusion 360 handles component movement a bit differently than moving bodies or other objects.  When you move a component (by dragging, using the Move command, or by other means) you should see a "Position" panel appear in the in the toolbar at the top of the application.  This allows you to capture the current position as a feature in the timeline, or revert to the previous position.  We've done this to allow the flexibility in moving components, while still allowing you to capture component position as a feature in the timeline.  Please take a look and let me know if this satisfies your workflows.

Very close Charles !

When I EDIT the "Snapshot" feature, I expected to see the "MOVE panel" filled with the current transformation relative to the last "Snapshot" feature (or "Copy-Paste" feature) and have change access to it.

Obs1: By "MOVE panel" I meant a panel with the standard 6 elements transformations ( X Distance, Y Distance, Z Distance, A Angle, Y Angle, Z Angle ) plus the 6 manipulators positioned in the component axis origin.

Obs2: The "Copy-Paste" feature should also have and EDIT behavior similar to "Snapshot" feature.

Thanks for the explanation.  I understand the requirements.  I'm changing status to "Under Review" while we discuss this internally.
