Additional Optional Select Chain Edges

It would be nice if we have optional Select Chain during Project Edges, we don't have to select edge one by one to get tangential edges.

Sometimes when I created CAM operational I uses sketches to get toolpath that I want. Usually I just convert edges to get the sketches.

I proposed two things, The first one is added optional select chain, and the second one is ability to extend the line after I created projected the lines.

Here is example what we do.

@novly.abdurohman there is actually no need to create a sketch to get that result in CAM. You can simply use Tangential Extension to extend past the edge of the selected contour.

Yes I agree with you, for basic shape we could do it with that feature. When we handle complex part and the part coming from other CAD system, sketch as a 'direction' of toolpath are very useful. Currently we do project edges to get the sketches that we want and then select the line and arc one by one its very takes times. So I proposed select chain and ability extend the line. 

As for your info I do the example above using contour selection and tangential extension.

If i make a sketch by projection and then want to select a part of this, my selection will not shown.

I can not see what is selected and what not. This is only if i want to select lines from a sketch.

Contour from an model will be highlighted in an other color.

Is this an bug ?
