3D Sketch snap to existing sketch

3D Sketch snap to existing sketch

I desperately want two additionaly sketch snap options:

1. Snap to circle quadrants (based on some coordinate axis that is user defined- and can be defined based on existing sketch or 3D geometry)

2. Snap to line intersections, or apparent intersections (just like autocad)

What would you use #1 for?  It sounds like an interesting idea but I can't think of what it would be useful for.

#2 is pretty obvious.

I often define geometry based on the edge of a circle, hole, or geometry
defined by a circle. The are of the circle I'm interested in is often
associated or aligned with quadrants of a circle (uo, down, left right all
of deg apart and aligned with some edge of my model). I can't think of all
the specifics when I've wanted this in the past, but ive lost count how
many times I've said to myself "where is my quadrant snap!"

This is a standard object snap in autocad.

Ahh, I guess I should have been more specific.  I get the idea of quadrant snapping, it's the user definable coordinate system that I'm wondering about.  What kinds of things are you making?  An example of where this might be useful would really help sell the idea.

#2 is a duplicate.
