3D models bugging in fusion 360. Propably Library.io problem

Hello, I was trying to get some 3D renders of my new version of PCB. After push the packages were out of place. I tried to do it again and the hole PCB looked even worse. Packages were total mees, different sizes, wrong angles....

Please try to get back this to working state. Or atleast inform us what is going on and how long it will be like this.

Thank you

Hi @patriks921,

I hope you're doing well. That is an unexpected result, here's something to try.

In the 2D PCB, Go to File > View > Show Text commands. In the dialog that pops up type:
PCB.clearCache and then generate new pcb3d again to see if it works.

Let me know if that helps.

I´m having the same issue.

PCB.clearCache did not solve it. Tried restarting but issue still exists.

Hi @hauke1,

I hope you're doing well. Let me break down the process a little more to try it again. Make a small change to the 2D PCB, run the PCB.clearCache in the text commands window, and the Push to 3D PCB. Does it work?

Hi,

I am experiencing the same issue.

Due to the color flickering issue with schematics and layouts, I already turned of GPU Rendering.

On 3D-PCBs I still have issues with QFNs that look like they swam away while reflow soldering and other components that are scaled incorrectly and are rotated on different angles.

Before PCB.clearCache.png

So, I also tried the "change a little thing and PDB.clearCache" workaround and got a unsatisfying result.

After PCB.clearCache.png

  • Now the Inductor L7 is scaled correctly and positioned correctly. (Würth Library)
  • The QFN parts IC4 and U5 are still shifted (my own Library)
  • The Oscillator Y2 is shifted (my own Library)
  • a lot of the Capacitors are just missing 3D Models (Würth Library)

My System is a Thinkpad E14:

  • CPU: Intel i5-1135G7
  • GPU: Intel Iris Xe
  • RAM: 16GB
  • OS: Win10 Pro 22H2 19045.2788

Is there anything else I can do?

I realy need to work on a Board where tight spacing is key and at the moment I can not trust what Fusion is outputting.

Hi, @patriks921 @sh9WZ6F @hauke1

Thanks for reflecting the problem to us, please try the steps mentioned by Jorge.

Also, we really want to find the root cause of this problem to prevent it from happening again in the future. Would you please help to share more information with us so that we could take a further look? The data would not be shared outside of Autodesk.

#1 Add both me(yiqiu.han@autodesk.com) and one of our other developers (weihu.zhang@autodesk.com) to your Fusion team hub & library.io folder.

#2 Zip  "%appdata%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<your ID>\circuitslib" folder and send to us for investigation

Thanks again,

Yiqiu

Hi, @patriks921

Thank you! We have seen your invitation and can be enrolled in your project now. Could you please illustrate where the corrupt data locates?

BTW, you can send cache data to us via e-mail directly  (weihu.zhang@autodesk.com, yiqiu.han@autodesk.com)

Also, giving us permission for the library .io folder is also necessary, So that we can try to reproduce the issue.  The below image is an example.
