Surface Workspace: How to patch a ring?

Hi,

im getting into the surface workspace to learn to fix step files to make the watertight.

I want to connect the brow cap to the rest of the body.

however when I use the patch tool i close the whole area, i just want to connect the little ring around the cap thats missing.

what would be the right tool for that?

Cheers F.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Tip: Take a closer look at the options available in the dialog box in your image.

Not Patch because the boundaries are independent.

Connect the black highlighted line with the blue highlighted line with Loft.

Might help.....

I don't understand why you posted this file - it doesn't seem to match your original problem description.

And where is your Timeline?
