(StataSys) VeroWhite material simulation

Hi all,

We are using Fusion 360 to model a part which is subject to a load. Our part will be machined by a 3D printer (by StrataSys) and made of VeroWhite resin. We want to make sure this prototype part is strong enough for our application so we have put together a simulation. We did not find the VeroWhite material in the material choices. We do have the technical specs for the material (check this link) but it seems some values needed by the simulation are not found in the specs (e.g. the yield strength, the tensile strength, the Poisson coefficient...).

VeroWhite is a very common material in prototyping, hence the question: how do you guys simulate when having the VeroWhite as the target material? Do you use a material already in Fusion 360 and with close specs? Did you find the missing values elsewhere?

Thanks a lot,

Antoine.

We actually ended up with a custom material modified from plastic PA 66 (also named Nylon 6/6 in Fusion) which has close specs (check here why, in French I am afraid). We have refined the specs using the values found here and making the assumption that the material is fragile / brittle (it seems to be the case when knocking on a material sample), so

Yield Strength = Tensile Strength. The bold lines are the ones required for static simulation (which is the only simulation we were interested in), that is:
