Sketch on top of the gear/circle

Hi there,

I would like to reproduce a gear with kind of clutch on top of it. It has like a teeth where another part comes in and make slip joint.

As for the gear, I have already did it using kind of generator for gear.

The problem is with the teeth. I was trying to sketch on top of the gear, then extrude it and use draft - didn't work.

Then I was trying to sketch at the side of the gear but that didn't work for me as well.

Is there anybody how can point me in the right direction? How to sketch it?

Photos and part of the project attached.

Thanks Günther, we are almost there, but not quiet.

The triangles (red arrow) are not the same dimensions.

The outer one is bigger than the one inner one.

That cause the face (yellow arrow) to be at some angle.

Do you know how to do this?

Hi,

Perhaps this one will meet your expectations.

Dimensions would have to be adjusted.

Thank you one more time Günther.

I learn a lot from you. Especially using projection and intersect!
