Resizing SVG after toolpaths created

I imported an SVG to my project, extruded it, and have already generated toolpaths for it (which was a chore, selecting each contour individually).  I now see that some features of the logo are too small to cut with the tooling I have, so I want to scale the logo bigger.  For the life of me, I cannot get the logo to scale when I switch back to the sketch where I originally imported it.  Is this just impossible?  I would really like to avoid re-importing, extruding and tooling the logo if at all possible.

Hi,

normally imported svg are green > fixed and can‘t be scaled. For scaling you need to unfix it.

> rightclick > unfix > blue lines >> scale!

That did allow me to resize the SVG, but whenever I do that either on my 3D model or my CAM model, it re-assembles the components.  I have two large components that attach at a right angle.  My CAM model has them laid flat for machining.  It seem that the act of scaling that SVG undoes the two move commands that I used to lay the components flat in the CAM model.  Any thoughts on why that is happening and how to avoid it?

This is seriously driving me up a wall.  I have posted a link to my file below.  I am trying to edit sketch 4 on the upright component.  I can edit the sketch and unfix the Seneca logo, stop the sketch and my CAM model remains intact.  Once I perform the scale function on the logo, move it, or in any way manipulate the logo, my CAM model gets destroyed (which screws up the toolpaths I have already created).  Can anybody figure out why this is happening?

@jeff_strater:  This looks like a bug.  The CAM component is no longer visible when altering Sketch4 in 3dModel|Upright.

Well, that makes me feel marginally better that it's not just me doing something stupid.  I hope Jeff or someone else can give me a workaround.  I would like to make several of these designs with just different logos.  It would be annoying to have to re-do a bunch of work on each one after changing the logo.

I replied about this problem in another thread @wilheldp made but thought I answer here as well. I think this is down to a bug where copy loses the reference to the body it's copying and there's no way to reselect. Copy really need the option to edit to allow reselection in situations like this and also the ability to change the selection.

 

Because copy\paste is such a liability I avoid it and use Boundary Fill instead. Another advantage is Boundary Fill can create a new component as well.

 

I've attached a copy of the file using boundary fill then used joints to position the resulting components. Also @wilheldp you should read the Rule #1 thread and create your parts as components from the start.

Looking a bit closer the problem is not with copy but because you moved the components and not saved the position. Rather than move you should use joints to position the parts.
