Importing and exporting STL and DXF formats

Please confirm the following assertions as true or false(if false, provide explanation as to why it is false):

1- The only way to import DXF and STL format files is to upload them to a project in the cloud.

2- After creating a mesh that is a combination of STL-based or DXF-based meshes, there is no way to export an STL or DXF file locally to my computer so it may be imported into V-REP.

3- There is no way to import a URDF file or SDF file format into Fusion 360.

The Learn Fusion 360 in 60 minutes implies that there is no way to export combined meshes STL or DXF format.

Please find my comments for your questions.

False.

you can import 'STL' and 'DXF' files from Insert dropdown

->

'Insert Mesh'/'Insert DXF'.

2.After creating a mesh that is a combination of STL-based or DXF-based meshes, there is no way to export an STL or DXF file locally to my computer so it may be imported into V-REP.

False for STL.

You can export STL files from the 'Browser Tree', Right click on the Body and select 'Save as STL'.

I have not heard about 'DXF-based meshes'. if you want to export a DXF sketch, then you can right click on 'Sketch' and select 'Save as DXF'.

     

3.There is no way to import a URDF file or SDF file format into Fusion 360.

I have no idea about importing SDF & URDF file formats into Fusion 360. Below are the few formats that can be imported in Fusion 360.
