How would you model a zipper wallet?

Greetings:

Does anyone have an idea how to model a zippered wallet as shown in the picture?  I am stuck at the zippered part which will be wrapped around the wallet.

Much appreciate for your time and help.

Pattern along a path is likely the tool of choice for the zipper.

Split Face and texture Appearance would be the easy way if you don't need actual geometry and don't zoom in too close.

Attach your *.f3d file here if you can't figure it out.

First I created the two zip elements and then I pattern them along one direction . And where you needed the zip to turn , I created a sketch for a path so the zip will pattern along the path .

nice... in addition to you... i think u can create a middle construction plate and project the top path, and then Pattern along the project path

I create a sketch and draw the two teeth

then I extrude them individually and apply a chamfer

then I Pattern the features along the Path
