How to place the center of a sketch profile at a newly defined location?

While sketching, I would like to align some profiles (shapes) based on a point that is not at the original location when the profiles were created. I would also like to measure and define some constraints to these newly defined points on the profile.

I guess what you need is the move tool, setting the move type to "point to point"

As for measuring and constraining, you can use dimensions

not necessarily in that order.
