I have a hexagonal shaped box that I would like to put a lid on. the lid is slightly elevated and square.
However, how do I create the remaining geometry to link the box to the lid? With another editor I'd just create boxes or polygons, and move their vertices in 3D space to match the corners of the other objects.
How could I accomplish this with fusion 360?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?
Probably the easiest technique would be to model as a monolithic solid, Shell and then Split the bodies.
Wow that was awesome! With the help of the Design History I was able to replicate your steps.
"Loft" and "Stitch" are the features I need to use.
Thanks a lot.
