Brand new BUT making rapid progress (I think).
BLUF: Why is it running to the lower left when my hole is at the tool origin?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WILLING TO HELP!
When run my code to make a hole I want it to be pretty much right at the place where I place the router bit before starting the code AND also (as I thought was reflected in my FUSION 360) also at the xyz origin in the picture. When I run the code it runs off to the lower left corner of my machine. Not sure why. I think this is also reflected in my Gcode with stuff such as the following X-131.117Y-69.707.
Why is it running to the lower left when my hole is at the tool origin?
What do I not understand?

The origin in the Design workspace is not the same as the Workspace Coordinate System origin in Manufacturing. Where you put the router bit is irrelevant.

Thank you much! So happy to have an answer! It worked! I've had my CNC machine for a week and really enjoying it although the learning curve for those of us who want to use the best software (Fusion 360) is steep. These really sets me on a course for success now! Thanks!
