Duplicate Bodies Linked

Hey, just a quick one.

When duplicating a component by using the move tool and ticking create copy, there remains a link between the parts that I do not want. Once I have created a second instance I want to be able to move and rotate both bodies without the other moving. Am I missing something, or is this a classic Fusion easter egg?  any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Will

Hi,

Copy > Paste New  (into primary component) should do what you want.

Use copy and paste-new. That creates a duplicate but independent component.

A simple copy with the move tool creates a component, basically a pointer to the same data structure.
