Are you familiar with using Parameters?

What is your intended Arc_length?

What is your intended Arc_radius?

You can use radians to calculate the length with (ArcLengh/ArcRad)*rad, units for the parameter need to be degrees. One warning, Fusion has a nasty bug if you use a parameter drive an angle dimension in a sketch. If you modify the angle from say 45° past 180° the dimension flips, now if you try going back to 45° the angle will be 180° out, see screencast below.

Thank you for the tip. I have to say that this is not an easy way:) I can see the area for improvement here: while drawing the arc a pop menu can appear and one can choose the way the arc is created. Could you put it to the "to do list"?

Full featured professional design programs like Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks have this functionality built in.

If you are a student - you can download Autodesk Inventor Professional from http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity for FREE.

Yeah i know Inventor exists but as i'm not a student its price is waaaaaay too high for people like me - i'm using it for personal purpouses only i my home shop.

You said that pro CAD software have the ability in question built in. To be honest we are not talking about rocket science here:) It is VERY SIMPLE tool and it seems VERY BASIC. So IMHO "buy Inventor or Solidworks" argument is strange:)
