Adding a shape around a circular face

Hello Everyone.  This is my first post.  Been trying to learn as much as I can before posting.

Im trying to make a triangular shape  and add it onto a circular face or plane.

The part is a body cap for a lens, and the extruded triangle with tighten on the lens.  It needs to be about 1mm on the narrow end and about 2.5mm on wide end.

Is there an easy way to create and add it.

Hope i've made it clear enough

Thank you.

Mike

Are you talking about putting vertical wedges around the circumference of the cap?

No. Its the Horizontal shape I'm trying to do.

I've done the vertical ok.

A picture of original I'm trying to copy is enclosed.

Thanks

That's Brilliant and exactly what I require.

That's where I was getting confused getting a sketch to connect to an axis.

Many thanks.  I'll go and have a play now.  🙂
