Adding a Legend

Is it possible to add a legend to a drawing eg REMOTE, ON/OFF? I have tried in sketch mode &  importing svg, problem is it shows as a sketch in the final model.

Can you post a screen shot of your design intent?

How will the legend be created in the real world?

Can you reproduce a modeled representation.

I have added a srceenshot. The final legend will be screen printed, for my purposes I think I can achieve what is required by extruding 0.1mm as a new body. However open to better suggestions.

Screen printing will add ink thickness.
So I would do exactly as you are doing - Extrude to mimic the real world ink thickness.

Another option would be Decals, but I think I would do it the way you are.
