I've selected metric units, by deselecting imperial unit.

I will be refering to the attached screenshot.

"Level 1" has a area of 1,088 sq m

Assuming that the comma is as thusand seperator, this would be 1.088,00 sq meter in metric terms.

But "Gross Area" is 7,84 sq m, a factor 1000 lower, but units are the same.

The floor area within the inside perimeter of the exterior walls of the building under consideration, exclusive of vent shafts and courts, without deduction for corridors, stairways, closets, the thickness of interior walls, columns or other features. The floor area of a building, or portion thereof, not provided with surrounding exterior walls shall be the usable area under the horizontal projection of the roof or floor above. The gross floor area shall not include shafts with no openings or interior courts. so it not include all area hence it only show 7,84 sq.m only
