How to create an oval?

Ran into a snag on my design. I can create squares, rectangles, triangles and circles. But without being able to scale on one axis, I can't create a perfect oval...

Anyone have a tip on how to do this?

Hello,

This is something we can consider for a future release.

In the meantime, you can approximate an oval using a spline and a circle. Here's my trick:

1. Create a circle

2. Use Spline (shortcut S or in the same tool menu as Line, Circle, Rectangle)

3. Use the facets in the circle to draw the spline on 4 points roughly equidistant from the center of the circle

4. Once you connect the 4th/1st point, you get a pretty decent oval approximation. See attached screenshot.
