Making changes in FormIt removes levels when re-loaded to Revit

Hi

Pretty new to FormIt.

Started great; created a FormIt mass with levels and loaded into a Revit project and all was good.

Made changes in the FormIt model, selected the geometry and exported 'selected only' to a new file. Inserted the new file into the Revit project. Selected the older version and replaced the newer version but it lost its levels and I can't create new Mass Floors. The error appears 'Mass contains only mesh geometry, which can’t be used to compute Mass Floors, volume, or surface area'.

Any ideas why?

Welcome to FormIt! I'm trying to reproduce the issue you are seeing, but I may need some more info. Here's what I did.
I tried a simple FormIt model with level associated to the geometry element. I save it and brought it into Revit with the the FormIt Converter (Import FormIt to RVT). I'm in Revit2020 and FormIt v17. I then went back to the FormIt model, made some changes to the geometry and 'dissociated' the levels with the geometry, selected the geometry and in FormIt did Export> Selected Only, chose AXM file format, and saved the new .axm file.
Does this match your workflow?

I then used the FormIt Converter (Import FormIt to RVT) again and then in Revit, selected the first FormIt geometry (called family1 in Revit and its a Mass family) and swapped it with the second FormIt geometry (called Family2). and I still see the levels that I had set up in FormIt and I still have mass floors in Revit associated to the form.
Are you doing something different in the workflow?
Are you working in different versions of the software than I am?
What are you selecting in FormIt when you export Selected Only?
Do you get the error in Revit about "Mass contains only mesh geometry" when swapping the families? or at another point in the workflow?
