Layers in FormIt, Dynamo Scripting

I'm looking to gather a better understanding of the way that Layers in Formit work and how I would go about generating layers for entouraged items. What the syntax is expected to be when creating new layers and for assigning objects to that layer. Also, some information on how to select all objects within a single layer would be helpful as well. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome!

Probably worth taking a look at the FormIt Layers API documentation. In particular:

• AddLayer() (can leave historyID 0)
• AssignLayerToObjects() 
• GetAllObjectsOnLayers()

It might be easier to test this using the FormIt Script Editor, creating a simple JavaScript plugin and testing it there (or even publishing it!).

But if you want to do this via Dynamo, you'll want to look at the documentation here.
