How do I delete projects?

Hello

I have a few projects (Sketches) I made in Formit on my iPad that I no longer want to keep.

How do I delete them from the 360 Drive and from my iPad?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Swipe horizontally on a thumbnail in the iPad gallery - and you will see a menu with a delete icon. When you synchronize to A360 (by pulling "down" on the gallery view) the file will also be deleted from A360. You can also log in directly to A360 from the web and delete the AXM file there: https://myhub.autodesk360.com/portal/folders/?drive=nitrous

Hello Fred - Yes, I've been there with too many projects filling up my Gallery - there are a few options for you...

- From the iPad, go to the gallery, you can swipe from the right side of a project thumbnail and there should be a delete button. This will remove the project from the iPad - and I believe it will remove the sketch from A360 as well.

- From a laptop or desktop, you can go directly to your A360 document storage account (in the FormIt folder) and delete files from there (https://360.autodesk.com/)

A fast way to get the files removed from your iPad is to get your A360 FormIt folder set up correctly, then delete the FormIt app from your iPad, then reinstall the FormIt app and re-sync your gallery. Removing the app from you iPad does remove the local sketch files, so make sure you've got everything you need in the cloud storage first!

Hope this helps, let me know!

Tobias

Hello Tobias

I tried to use the link you gave (https://360.autodesk.com/), but I got a message saying that the page doesn't exist.  No problem, though, since I went to the site and logged in, but the Formit folder is empty.  Strange. I have two projects that I didn't delete from my iPad, but they're not there.

Any suggestions?

Ah - funny - the last slash at the end made the URL invalid! This should work for future reference... https://360.autodesk.com

When you do get to A360 Drive, go to the documents button, then the formit folder... if your files aren't showing up there then one of two things:

-you didn't sign in on your iPad when you created those files, so your files are saved locally on your iPad only - just sign in and swipe down on the gallery page and they should sync automatically

-the other possibility is that you're logged in with different credentials on the two devices

Hope one of those resolves the case of the missing files!

Tobias

Interesting question, and thank you for the answer, but I didn't ask it!

For some reason it came from my account.

Strange.

Hi @jazzking2001,

If you haven't already, you should try asking this in the Fusion 360 forums.

Thanks,

Swipe from the right side of a project thumbnail then you will find the delete button.
