Formit to Revit

I'm having a problem with the FormIt 360 Conversion add-in for Revit. When I click "Convert FormIt 360 Sketch to RVT" I select the file and after it thinks for a little bit, this error pops up. After clicking either "Yes" or "No", another one pops up after it. It does this several times, depending on how large the file is, and then shuts down Revit. Any fixes for this?

Whoa! Fatal Error - that's not good. Thanks for trying out the converter, I can't guess what the issue is based on this info so...

Can you share the FormIt file that is causing these errors? I'll start a direct message thread where you can share the file safely.

Thanks,

Tobias

I did not get a fatal error, but I did get this error when trying to import into Revit 2015...

...and from what I can see, there is no converter yet for Revit 2016. Is that correct?

Hello Kfuhrman! I think that means you need to update your converter.

We just released a new version of the app - and a new version of the converter -
so head over here... http://formit360.autodesk.com/blog/formit-converter/

download and run it - you should be all set.

And you're right we don't have a 2016 version available today... but we should in the middle of September!

Thanks,

Tobias

Thanks, Tobias. I did update the converter, and the .axm model came into Revit nicely. When I went to add mass floors, Revit added mass shades instead! (See below) My apologies to jrfrost for taking over his post...maybe we can move this to a new discussion?

You bet - I sent you a direct message so we can follow up on this model specifically as I'm not sure why you're getting 'bonus' faces!
